  • Excellent researcher award for the paper “Insights into prokaryotic metataxonomics and predictive metabolic function in field-scale anaerobic digesters treating various organic wastes” for the month of November 2023 by Hanyang University, Seoul, Korea.
  • Excellent researcher award for the paper “Syntrophic bacteria-and Methanosarcina-rich acclimatized microbiota with better carbohydrate metabolism enhances biomethanation of fractionated lignocellulosic biocomponents” for the month of December 2022 by Hanyang University, Seoul, Korea.
  • World-class research in ‘Environmental Biotechnology’ enabled to publish >42 SCI(E) research articles in well-known peer-reviewed international journals of high repute along with 11 book chapters and 1 patent (published) focusing on ‘bioenergy and bioremediation’ with a career average journal impact factor of ~10.0, citations of >1800, H Index of 24 (based on Google Scholar).
  • Three research publications have appeared as “highly cited paper” in Web-of-Sciences, Clarivate.
  • Developed technology for the use of high organic loading in the anaerobic digester for high yield biomethanation.
  • Explored microbial interactions and community dynamics in anaerobic digester microbiota using the state-of-the-art methodologies in molecular microbiology including next generation high-throughput sequencing.
